Job Description:

We have an exciting 6-month contract with the possibility of extension for a growing cosmetics/beauty company based in San Francisco. This position does not need to be based in San Francisco and can be fully remote but must be able to work PST hours / able to work with their team on the east coast.

JOB SUMMARY:

The eCommerce Manager/Associate Manager drives the branded digital eCommerce business. This person is responsible for creating marketing and merchandising strategies that meet business’ KPI goals. Working closely with their manager to manage vendor relationships and overall site experience. This person will work cross-functionally with the Product team and other Digital team counterparts and ensure story alignment across all brand owned channels.

Responsibilities:
- Own US user experience including updating site content, setting up and executing promotions, launching & activating products and continuously optimizing site merchandising
- Own content management for UK & EU sites and work cross-functionally with Regional Retail Manager
- Develop robust site assets briefs and work with creative team from kickoff through execution
- Maintain updates and partner with product team to resolve issues regarding site experience
- Utilize customer and site visitor analytics to make data-driven decisions and partner with UX Designer to derive insightful UX enhancement hypothesis that will optimize the shopping and navigational experience
- Partner with Senior Manager, Digital & Brand Marketing to develop promotional and bundle assortment strategy to meet business goals
- Be a part of developing enhancements/UX roadmap with the eCommerce team to improve customer experience and work with the cross-functional teams to execute
- Consistently drive innovation and bring disruptive ideas: evaluate competitors, bring fresh content ideas
- Manage tools such as on-site search, customer reviews and product feeds
- Continuous focus with the team on driving conversion and revenue
- Leverage site analytics and other reporting to drive all decisions

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of eCommerce experience, beauty/retail preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of eCommerce best practices and analytics
- Magento 2 experience preferred, other eCommerce platform experience (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, etc.) welcome
- Experience participating in strategy creation as well as tactical implementation
- Detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities
- Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
- Extensive web analytics skills, with proficiency in Google Analytics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
