Job Description:

As a Senior Product Manager, Customer Experience, you will work within a team aligned to the stages of the customer journey – diagnosis, activation, and onboarding & adherence. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights across these dimensions within the Rheumatology and Dermatology therapeutic areas. In this role, you will closely partner with the cross-functional and extended team members to deliver on key business objectives and priorities.

General responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Translate annual brand strategy to execution by coordinating development and execution of marketing tactics based on customer insights in line with the overall brand strategy
  • Execute multiple priority tactics or strategic campaigns with demonstrated marketing acumen
  • Manage budget for assigned programs and tactics, including project creation, spend, reconciliation, and developing metrics to monitor effectiveness and/or program success
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to generate meaningful insights that are foundational for brand strategy
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with other brand marketers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and message consistency across customers and channels
  • Effectively collaborate with relevant vendor and agency relationships, ensuring efficient, responsible and impactful use of budget funds
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure relevant company functions are informed of marketing objectives and key initiatives

Skills:

  • Brand sales performance against external measures and against budget/forecast
  • Metrics as determined by Head of Marketing, Franchise Head, Sales Leadership/Field Force, other internal customers/stakeholders (medical, legal, regulatory, compliance, market access) and external customers regarding quality of deliverables and impact to patients
  • Internal and External Stakeholder Satisfaction
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech and/or healthcare required
  • Diverse experience outside of marketing (e.g. Customer-facing/sales experience, managed markets, operations, medical, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and engaging key customer groups and other important stakeholders internally and externally to gain deep insights to evolve brand strategy and communication
  • Proven track record of success showing strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to build strong, cross-functional relationships to leverage Novartis’ expertise to accomplish business goals and customer objectives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong project management experience and skills
  • Strong learning agility / growth mindset

Education:

  • 3-6 years of experience that translate to breadth and depth of marketing-relevant competencies (e.g., marketing, market access, sales leadership, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in business and/or biological science education with concentration in marketing are preferred (MBA a plus)
