Job Description:

This role will lead and manage the strategic evolution and growth plan for the Advocacy portion of the  program, which is a network of small business influencers in local communities in order to seed and scale the benefits the company offers to businesses of all sizes. This person will partner with the Head of Economic Impact, North America, as well as the Global Economic Impact & Advocacy teams, to ideate, propose, and plan new opportunities to nurture and activate company advocates. They will also work closely with our Small Business, Policy, and Communications teams to deliver programs that provide value to small businesses and strengthen perceptions of the brand in local communities. 
The successful candidate will have a strong community management and advocacy marketing background, be collaborative in nature and motivated by building large integrated marketing programs which drive measurable impact. They will need experience working across many parts of an organization, managing complex workstreams. This role will be both strategic and executional, starting with the planning process and moving into execution for both large and scalable solutions. This position is full time and will be based remotely in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and responsible for delivery of a marketing strategy for key pillars within our program for 2020 and beyond, including Advocacy
  • Develop new tactics to leverage company advocates to enhance program initiatives  
  • Develop and execute on strategy to increase sentiment amount our small business network
  • Manage the overall content strategy for our advocates
  • Day-to-day community moderation of a group for “small business advocates” — approving posts, approving member requests, moderating comments, publishing daily content
  • Leverage your passion for community building to help the company become a community leader with this audience
  • Ensure all initiatives are supported with a measurement & analytics plan, so we can understand programming impact and Small and Medium Business sentiment shift
  • Partner with the rest of the team to insure the Advocacy program is integrated into all efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience working in marketing, communications, or advertising
  • Social content management experience for communities and groups
  • Vetted and proven experience in influencer strategies
  • Vetted and proven experience in Influencer program marketing and management
  • Creative thinker and marketer
  • Experience managing agencies and vendors 
  • Experience as a cross-functional influencer and partner
  • Strong presentation skills
