Our client, a top retailer, is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join their team in San Mateo. This role will start remote and move onsite when safe. Fundamentally, the Business Analyst will transform business questions and requirements into actionable insights for the team so that we all meet and exceed our KPI goals. Must have a high proficiency in SFDC with SFDC admin / certification and digital media or advertising company background preferred

Position Description
• Provide project management by building calendars, determining key milestones, risks and dependencies
• Perform financial modeling and other rigorous quantitative analysis
• Create presentations for leadership and other internal needs
• Perform business analysis and reporting for assigned projects
• Build positive and trustful working relationships with others
• Perform competitive analysis
* Designs and performs complex, multi-variable analyses to determine resolutions that clarify and address operational and business concerns; evaluating data to make recommendations for continued or new business direction; generating results using new or existing tools (for example, Access, Excel, function-specific tools); considering multiple scenarios and points of view and potential outcomes for recommending actions based on analysis; communicating and sharing recommendations and relevant information; and iterating analyses based on different business scenarios or assumptions.

Minimum Qualifications
• BA/BS 4 year Degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on analytical subject matter
• Expertise in Excel, SFDC, or any dashboarding/BI tools; Advanced SQL and Tableau are a bonus
• Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements to specific analytical reports and tools
• Must be flexible and comfortable in an extremely fast paced dynamic environment
• Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail and a strong self-starter
• Self-motivated and detail oriented, and thrive working within a complex process environment that is not fully mature while being able to positively manage situations of a dynamic nature
• Oversee sales operations workflow and process for WMG
• Able to data manage including auditing and resolving data integrity issues
• Manage best practices for sales reporting and analytics;
• Provide training and be the subject expert of SFDC for WMG Sales team
• Exceptional follow through, and be administratively strong in process management
• Focused on continuous improvement, identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process; and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges
• Be a great team player and collaborator

Preferred Qualifications
• BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
• 4+ years experience in Finance, business insights, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting; advertising sales industry experience is a plus
• Detailed oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
• Exceptional follow through, and be strong in process management
• High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership and solve problems

• Has strong communication/interpersonal skills and is able to build relationships and influence cross-functionally
