Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to make it easy for anyone and everyone to learn what this AI assistant can do for them, without searching a list of Its Skills, and as simply part of their day-to-day routine. We’re looking for a Sr. UX designer, not only to help new customers “meet the assistant,” but to help It meet YOU where you are, with the greatest convenience, simplicity, and humanity.

As the Sr. UX Designer for Discovery Experiences, you will lead design initiatives that allow the AI Assistant to elegantly share who It is and what It can do for each person It interacts with. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams focused on discovery and inspirational learning across endpoints. You will advise on roadmaps, set CX strategy, invest in research to drive cu

You will work on new end-customer experiences and also create CX frameworks that allow the many teams to know who is interacting with The Assistant so that It can provide a welcoming personal experience that anticipates needs. As the center of design excellence for discovery experiences, your team’s work will translate big thinking into new patterns and best practices that you will drive across the design landscape

Years of experience required?

• 7+ years of professional experience in the UX design field
•  2+ years of experience shipping consumer products

Education required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

Disqualifiers:

  • If there is no portfolio or do not have enough experience in the industry. Has to be a team player.

Best vs. Average:

• Experience shipping multi-modal consumer products
• Experience with VUI/voice/conversational design
• Demonstrated ability to influence product decisions
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer/end-user impact
• A track record of ground-breaking work
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• A track record of successfully working across teams to synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing

Performance Indicators:

• 7+ years of professional experience in the UX design field
• 2+ years of experience shipping consumer products
• An available online portfolio
• An understanding of current speech and language technologies
