Job Description:

We are seeking a Internet Marketing Analyst to join our client in Bellevue, Washington for a 6-month freelance opportunity. This role will start remote and move to onsite when safe and has the opportunity to extend. This Marketing Analyst will  own day-to-day aspects of Search Engine Marketing. Responsibilities include managing operations, reporting, budgeting, and optimization of Paid Search campaigns to meet performance marketing goals and align to regional objectives. Paid Search is part of the broader Performance Marketing organization and serves as one of the key growth drivers of the business. eBay’s unmatched inventory is unique among online retailers, and with huge scale comes massive marketing investments to
connect sellers and buyers, drive sales and contribute to growth.

Responsibilities
• Manage regional paid search portfolios
• Analyze campaign performance, monitor performance trends, spot outliers, communicate results on a weekly basis
• Structure tests & monitor results
• Test ideation to identify growth or efficiency opportunities
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with major paid search partners
• Staying up to date on industry trends
• Collaborate with eBay counterparts to leverage expertise, inform platform and engineering development, share best practices
Top 3 Skills
• Mid-level Excel analysis skills -- Pivot Table design, chart design, basic formula understanding
• Data driven decision making mindset -- Analysis for marketing campaigns and ROI optimization
• Marketing experience-former work supporting a marketing team, preferably eCommerce
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field preferred
• 1-2 years search marketing experience (paid search preferred)

Qualifications 

• General knowledge of Search Engine Marketing
• Strong problem-solving
• Curious in nature and like to dig into data to identify insights
• Works well independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with team
• Strong Microsoft Excel (pivots, formulas, charts)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and takes initiatives
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Working SQL knowledge, a plus
• AdWords experience a plus

• Stakeholder management background is important.
