This candidate will be the Product Owner for a major Financial clients' Services team. The candidate will manage and administer product planning, design, development, documentation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle. They will also gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and works closely with cross-functional groups.
Top 3 Must Have Skills:
1 Product Experience (preferably agile)
2 Some level of technical expertise – engineering background (not mandatory to be engineering, science, some aptitude in technical field)
3 Aptitude for business side – understanding of how products work, how products work against competitors, features should leverage, interacting with different orgs to understand products
Job Description –
Max travel once a month but more likely once every 3 months

Manages and administers product planning, design, development, documentation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle. Gathers and prioritizes product and customer requirements, defines the product vision, and works closely with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and support to conform to the company’s quality system procedures for design control and to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Ensures that the product, and possibly the marketing efforts, supports the company's overall strategy and goals.: Defines the product strategy and roadmap. Delivers product requirement documents and marketing requirement documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples. Develops the core positioning and messaging for the product. Performs product demos to customers. Maintains expertise with respect to the competition. Acts as a leader within the company. May work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. May set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals, develop sales tools and collateral, and brief and train the sales force.

This supports Consumer credit project. Specific to US and UK revolving credit products. In market products.
Start Date: 6/15 or sooner
Daily Schedule: M-F 9-5
Typical Task Breakdown/Rhythm:
Working with engineering team writing stories, managing agile ceremonies, working with UX team to build out new products/features and new ones.
Years of Experience: 3-5 (Fairly Jr but has a few years exp in product management)
Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor
Best vs. Average: Financial Tech Experience, having more product experience is better.
