Must haves:

Production development/execution (samples, mock ups, prototypes), supplier management or production budget and timeline management experience 

Production experience at retail companies with physical stores or tech companies with pop up shop experience.

Must also be highly organized and innovative, 3D design development, production project manager. Candidates may have background working in architectural firms, environmental design firms, theatre/stage production companies, design agencies and/or corporate in-house creative studios. Experience with consumer electronics products, preferred.

Job Summary: 3D Production Manager, Development 


As part of our client's global Marketing and Communications group, the 3D Production Manager, Development provides strategic project management, vendor management, fixture development expertise to support a variety of merchandising strategies across a wide range of products for client's Retail, Channel, Events and Special Projects. The Marketing Communications 3D Production team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of Marketing Communications initiatives and creative intent.

This position delivers best-in-class quality by collaborating with Marketing Communications’ Design groups, building relationships cross-functionally with teams throughout Marketing Communications, Retail, Procurement and Operations and managing agencies, suppliers and manufacturing partners. 3D project work includes complex visual merchandising furniture, fixtures, displays, installations, brand presentations and retail windows.

Key Qualifications
You have 4 -7 years of retail fixture, design development project management experience (preferably with electronic products) in a design agency, architecture firm, or corporate in-house studio
You are a proven design development, project leader; able to drive projects independently and efficiently
You are dedicated, resourceful, highly organized, learn quickly and bring a calm, flexible demeanor
You have a strong eye for quality, design and construction details and a take charge attitude
You are able to leverage relationships and consistently drive the best work out of supplier partners
You are able to propose and develop solutions that meet brief requirements set by a myriad of stakeholders and proactively communicate trade-offs, risks, opportunities in a clear, diplomatic fashion
You thrive in creative, collaborative, ambiguous and challenging environments
You are resourceful, comfortable under pressure and able to work effectively as both a team member or project owner
You build relationships through strategic communication, innovative problem solving and consistently being a trusted partner
You are familiar with CAD, engineering drawings, and compatible systems
You have experience leading and documenting onsite installations
You are willing to travel domestically and internationally for up to 10 days at a time (once that is possible again in the current climate)

Description
Assist with fixture design development, including project scoping, planning, design explorations (samples, mock ups, massing models), engineering, prototyping, compliance, documentation, reviews, budget management, timeline management and status updates
Execute against project strategy, negotiate strategic changes, deliver on-time, best in class deliverables
Represent Marketing Communications at cross-functional team meetings and supplier meetings
Contribute to strategic discussions and processes improvements
Manage operational, financial and timeline project needs

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in business management or a creative discipline, is preferred
