Our Healthcare client's Corporate Strategy team is a part of the broader Office of the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer, which is their end-to-end strategic growth planning function.  The Office is composed of several teams which collectively own setting the strategic direction for the company, executing M&A/Joint Ventures/Strategic partnerships/venture investments to accelerate our strategy, managing the execution of the strategy, and integrating assets and driving value capture. 

Our client's Corporate Strategy team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with senior leadership to chart the course for the company's future.  In Strategy, candidates will identify and analyze exciting new growth opportunities and work with business leaders to prioritize strategic investments and execute strategic transformation. The Strategy team leads weekly meetings with the CEO and management team and frequently deliver strategy updates to the Board of Directors. The consultant role is modeled after top-tier management consultant experience.  As such, day-to-day activities will include developing industry analysis, building high level financial/business modeling, conducting qualitative analysis (e.g. informational interviews) and synthesizing strategic options to create executive level deliverables and recommendations for senior leaders and Board.

In addition, strategy consultants will have exposure to our client's M&A, Venture Capital and Acquisition Integration activities.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering on a wide range of strategic activities, including ad hoc support of turnarounds and divestitures, strategic projects, and strategy execution
• Providing consulting services to lines of business to reduce utilization of external consulting support
• Supporting cross-functional projects, working with the management team and business presidents to execute complex, high-priority strategic initiatives
• Converting strategy into business cases and projects while prioritizing timelines and ensuring alignment and execution
• Managing internal and external relationships with key business partners
• Developing and refining key team operating systems

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors Degree (e.g. MPH, MFA, Data Science, Data Analytics, etc.)
• 3-5 years of consulting, corporate strategy or data/business analysis experience
• Proven experience setting priorities and defining the future direction of a company or business unit (i.e. competitive analysis, strategy road map, strategic investment prioritization)
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills with proven ability to apply foundational strategy principles to a variety of business problems
• Proven experience working directly with and presenting to Executive level management; ability to influence/drive change with Executive leadership
• Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills 
• Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leadership internally and externally
• Commitment to professional and personal growth

PREFERENCES
• Healthcare industry experience
• MBA or Advanced Degree (e.g. MPH, MFA, Data Science, Data Analytics, etc.)
