Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assist in primary research efforts to uncover visual perception phenomenon that arise from the use of our prototypes and products. 
  • Conduct psychophysical research, primarily in-lab empirical studies. 
  • User study  moderation, and execution of behavioral & psychophysical experiments. 
  • Assist in the derivation of subjective questions. 
  • Assist in the implementation of psychophysical test protocols. 
  • Lab setup & management. 
  • Liaise with participant recruiting teams and participant onboarding. 
  • Note taking, and data capture. 
  • Data preparation, coding, and analysis. 
  • Draft findings, and reports based on the research. 
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations. 
  • Collaborate with Research Science staff on the preparation of test protocols, lab set up, and data analysis. 
  • Require support to help stand up several experimental lab settings to help with peak period of planning for summer internship projects. 

Skills:

  • Experience with one or more of the following methods: psychophysics, quantitative behavioral experiments. 
  • Experience with Matlab, and/or Python for experiment creation.
  • Require support to help stand up several experimental lab settings to help with peak period of planning for summer internship projects.
  • Requires knowledge of psychophysics, vision science to ensure support of lab build and experiment quality.
