Our healthcare client is looking for a Multimedia Designer in Richardson to assist with creating internal and external-facing electronic multimedia presentations and other channels to support enterprise marketing, communication, and training goals; consulting with clients, including company executives, and managing projects through revisions until final product approval is granted; and under some direction, working on complex and confidential presentation projects.
Meet with and actively listen to internal clients to gather information about needs, ideas, goals, expectations, context, intended audience, and definition of message.
Act as a trusted resource to client by creating project recommendations, plans, delivery options, and estimated timelines with internal client to ensure optimum product delivery.
Analyze best possible options to deliver clients desired product while meeting cost, time, and resources constraints.
Participate in the creation of project execution plans which involves any or all of the following: defining content in detail, writing script or story board, interaction design, interface design, visual aesthetic design, developing and editing audio and video, and outputting product for the desired media or distribution channels (i.e., CD, DVD, VHS, Internet, Intranet, interactive kiosk, etc.).
Work through revisions with client as product evolves and approaches finalization.
Use technical knowledge of multimedia software and tools to include: PowerPoint, Macromedia Flash, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, audio equipment, video and still cameras, lighting equipment, Mac and PC platforms and peripherals (AV hard drives, scanners, CD/DVD duplicators, etc.) to design and develop product.
Store work onto DVD, CD, internet, intranet, etc. by compressing files to fit desired format.
Interpret corporate brand guidelines and works within them, while keeping solutions innovative.
Frequently update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging multimedia design and development trends, practices, and standards; participate in educational opportunities; participate in professional organizations.
Provide project direction and act as a resource to lower level Multimedia Developers as directed by manager.
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and performs special projects as required or requested.
Bachelor Degree and 3 years design experience in a studio, agency or corporation, or 5 years design, development and production experience, with a focus on PowerPoint.
Experience with high-end design in an agency or corporate environment.
Experience influencing customers to win/win design and project outcomes.
Creativity and story telling experience in PowerPoint.
Proficiency in design, development, production, and project management.
Proficiency in the following applications: PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment meeting time and quality requirements.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
Ability to design portfolio and examples of PowerPoint presentations.
