Aquent's client, a leading AAA game studio, is looking for an enthusiastic, customer obsessed tools engineer that will help build the technology that empowers the content authors to build the virtual world that sets the standard for next-generation graphical beauty. You will have the chance to apply your creativity, communication skills and technical expertise to build the workflows that will support our content creators and maximize their artistic capability. You will be given opportunities that leverage your in-depth understanding of various types of technology and customer empathetic perspective to produce systems and tools that artists will fall in love with.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of math/computer science
• Understanding of technical art workflows and fundamental principals
• Programming background in C#, SQL and scripting languages
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for games and a “customer-obsessed” attitude

Nice to Have
• Professional C++ experience
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience
• Solid 3D math skills (linear algebra and trig.)
• Strong grasp of UX design principles
• Experience with building UI applications (MVVM, WPF, LUA, etc)
• Experience with complex games systems (animation, graphics, game engine, etc.)
• Experience using 3D editors and art authoring applications (Unreal, Unity, Max, Maya, Substance, Photoshop, etc.)
