Our Leading Food & Beverage Client is looking for a Marketing Associate to join their New Biz Ventures Team!
As a Marketing Associate, you will be part of team that is responsible for incubating and scaling the next leading brands that will
complement core businesses and create incremental, sustainable growth. You will need to “think big and act small” by
driving innovation in a lean environment from idea to execution in support of our clients New Business Ventures growth strategy.
This role is accountable for supporting the development and commercialization of new brands and concepts, testing, learning, and
adapting in-market in close collaboration with Consumer Insights, Regulatory, Finance, Product Development, and Manufacturing with
both speed and agility.
Manage consumer communications projects that develop a creative territory that brings the brand to life and enables
effective consumer communication with a digital and social first approach
Assist in identifying optimal engagement strategy and campaign structure to reach consumers when and where they
are most receptive.
Lead initiatives in the communication plan around specific touchpoints or consumer targets including agency and
cross-functional team management, strategy, planning, execution and results measurement.
Demonstrate the ability to manage projects on time and on budget as well and demonstrate decision-making abilities
around investment alternatives that mitigate risk and maximize return.
Leverages brand, consumer and marketplace data and trends to support Manager in developing an annual marketing
communications plan to closely align the efforts of Marketing and Sales to generate optimal demand for the brand
Prepare, present and sell-in aspects of the brand plan to management, cross-functional partners and external
Assists in creating the annual communications plan including recommended touchpoint plan,
activation/implementation plan, stewardship and measurement
Support Manager in implementing a 3-year consumer centric brand plan to drive and/or sustain long-term brand health
including equity, awareness and engagement.
Research and Data Analysis
Researching new-to-Route To Market innovations
Compiling and synthesizing weekly sales data and consumer feedback on innovation products
Creating market reports for both ideation and demand planning purposes
Leverage data, trends and support from Manager, Shopper Marketing and Market Research to help build a robust and
actionable learning plan to address knowledge gaps in consumer, brand, product,
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelor degree and 5+ Years Marketing Experience, or MBA with 2+ Years Marketing Experience
Travel Requirements –10-15%
Location requirement – Arlington, Virginia
Has worked and flourished in entrepreneurial environment
Proven results track record (High performer)
Minimum 2-3 years of product management experience
