Our client is seeking a PART-TIME Communications Specialist. ****This person will be required to work onsite half-day Wed, full-day Thurs/Fri.******

Job Description
An Energy company is looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis, around 20 hrs per week. The ideal candidate will be local to Birmingham and able to go onsite a couple of days a week. 


This role will be responsible for creating communications and content around energy, research and development, and engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience writing for technical or regulated industries and will have the ability to translate dense/technical topics into easily understood messaging for external audiences. This role will produce deliverables for internal and external audiences in the form of talking points, stories for the homepage, media relations, emails, blogs, press releases, PPT presentations, etc.

*5-7 years of writing and communications experience
*Must be able to work with SMEs in the field and translate the technical nature of the work into relatable content
*Must have a strong writing and communications background
*Must be able to provide numerous writing samples before being submitted for the role
