Scrum Master - Project Manager

In this client-facing role you will support next-generation product design and platform development and the creation of a seamless and unified experience across web, mobile and in-room apps.

As a project manager/scrum master you will provide program management and analytical support for the User Testing & Digital Experiments team. This team focuses on A/B, multivariate, and optimization testing in order to generate valuable information to influence the design of various digital products. 

 Responsibilities

  • Meet with application owners, application developers and analysts, coding staff and the like to determine business needs and functionalities desired for new or revised application.

 

  • Write internal blogs and communications, white papers, participate in lunch learnings

 

  • Plan course of relatively large or complex project(s), including milestones, resources needed in the form of staff hours, budget, use of technology and tools and document in project plan, following established project management methodology

 

  • Track course of project from meetings, conferring with developers, and receiving reports. Update project plan as needed. Document changes to scope or functionalities with change ticket, project plan, or another format.

 

  • Document exceptions or deviations as needed. Convene meetings and plan agenda to ensure important issues are aired and resolved.

 

  • Report on progress of project, use of staff, budget expenditures, progress on milestones and the like to stakeholders
     

  • Foster continuous process improvement

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of years of related experience

Excellent organizational and communications skills

Understanding of project management in scrum and kanban models

Experience marketing or willingness to take on an internal marketing role including blog posts, learning lunches, white papers, etc.

Technical understanding of UX and Design Thinking, User Research, and product design/development

A passion for technology

Experience in project budget management
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong stakeholder management skills and flexibility to thrive in a fast paced and shifting prioritization environment
