Job Description:

The role is an exciting Designer role that comes with a free shuttle service, PTO and free meals! 

Duties:

  • Execute top-quality and cutting-edge visual design work for the team website, blog, academic events, and social/video assets.
  • Manage all design aspects of a project from start to finish. Ideate, sketch and implement smart cohesive visual designs for ROAR and other stakeholders, while adhering to corporate branding guidelines.
  • Coordinate entire print and digital collateral production processes from start to finish, including ideating and iterating designs with key stakeholders and partners, as well as shipping and receiving logistics.
  • Ensure work across the team is on brief, on brand and of the highest quality.
  • Develop style guide, design assets, infographics and iconography.
  • Seek out creative opportunities to improve on existing styles and approaches.
  • Develop digitally scalable creative assets, including templates for videos, presentations, and email marketing.
  • Bring curiosity, grit, creativity, empathy and passion every day to the team and this role.
  • Self-motivated, a great communicator and comfortable receiving feedback.

Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years design experience at an agency and/or internal marketing team.
  • Minimum 1 year project management experience with a keen ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Possess an impressive portfolio reflecting strengths in design, typography and layout in both print and digital mediums.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote, or willingness and ability to learn.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to work with confidential information.
  • Highly motivated team player that is eager to learn and can work well under pressure. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Research/academic experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Marketo templates is a plus.
