Role: Writer / Editor Corporate Communications

Role Type: Contract

Work Location: Tukwila, WA

 

We are searching for a seasoned Corporate Communications Editor / Writer for a Fortune 50 client in Puget Sound. Candidate will work closely with Corporate Communications stakeholders to support brand guides, corporate news articles, general employee communications and a small amount of promotional writing for web. Deliverables will include both short and long copy and writing for proposals and presentations.

 

Responsibilities: Reviews work in progress, disputes any discrepancies. Gathers input and reconciles conflicting comments. Writes, edits and proofreads technical, proposal and promotional text and artwork. Verifies consistency and clarity of communication. Defines scope of project, negotiates agreement and monitors status. Develops concepts and proposals for new content management. Negotiates approaches to content structure and design. Determines content requirement for regulatory treatment, coordination or approval.

 

Requirements:

5 – 7 yrs experience editing / proofing / writing corporate communications & technical proposals and graphics

Must have experience supporting corporate stakeholders and graphics departments

Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint

 

** Background Screen & Drug Screen required.
