Job Description:

We're looking for a Marketing Manager who will be a key player on the Lifecycle marketing team for a major Portfolio, located in San Francisco. The individual will oversee marketing campaigns and execution for lifecycle campaigns from inception to deployment while working closely with the cross functional teams and the client. The role will work with the client, analytics, digital, legal and marketing execution teams to develop and manage creative assets, and manage campaign design, execution and performance.

Much of this role will be overseeing and marketing to existing card holders of the Clients’ portfolio, including 4 brands:  Deliverables include email, direct mail and in store promotions.  The role focuses on executing campaigns. Not as much on the strategy side of things.
The role will work with the client, analytics, digital, legal and marketing execution teams to develop and manage creative assets, and manage campaign design, execution and performance.

Essential Responsibilities:
o Serve as the primary and/or secondary point of contact for Gap Inc. lifecycle campaigns
o Continually optimize campaign performance
o Manage campaign performance KPIs
o Develop test recommendations for campaigns
o •Develop applicable campaign briefs, and work with the cross functional teams to execute
o Coordinate and review analytic requests for lifecycle initiatives
o Manage terms and conditions, new account updates and take-one materials as assigned
o Update the marketing calendar on a regular cadence to include lifecycle activities
o Build strong relationship with the client and cross functional teams and act as the right hand when it comes to issue management and campaign status updates
o Execute and optimize client marketing campaigns working closely with the central teams; Marketing Solutions, Loyalty COE, Legal/Compliance
o Maintain strong business controls on campaign and reward submissions with a keen eye for details. Ensure accurate audit findings
o Understand all the touchpoints of Marketing for rewards to provide the best user experience for loyalty both online and offline
o Partner with the client and lifecycle teams to move creative marketing campaigns through the legal creative review process and provide feedback to the client
o Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of total marketing experience, preferably in credit card, financial services, or retail industry

Desired Characteristics:
o Retail, Credit card or other financial services marketing experience
o Strong understanding of credit card products and credit marketing
o Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results
o Champion of marketing metrics and program measurement (incremental sales calculation, campaign profitability, break-even analysis)
o Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
o Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
o Strong presentation skills
o Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate situations looping in the cross functional teams
o Outstanding communication, relationship building and collaboration skills
o Ability to interact effectively with key client contacts
