A San Francisco based Fortune 500 American clothing and accessories retailing company is looking for a contract Assistant Production Manager tasked to:
o Maintain and update general spreadsheets and documents with exceptional attention to detail. Need to have strong excel/pivot skills
o Enter and maintain accuracy of data within multiple internal systems: ACT/PETE, SMEE, PLM, Costing Tool, Prompt
o Identify opportunities for process improvements to drive efficiency and simplicity
o Assist in meeting Key Performance Indicators; including Ship On time metrics
o Assist with vendor onboarding to ensure that vendors are clear on Gap Inc. testing protocols, shipping requirements, invoicing etc.
o Communicate deliverables to cross functional business partners with strong follow through
o Work closely with vendors and MST to manage on-time deliveries, PO changes, ticketing issues, etc.
Top 3-5 Skills needed
o Proficient computer skills, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel/Pivot tables
o Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
o Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to quickly adapt to change
o General understanding of retail math and/or comfortable with numbers
o Ability to interpret shifting business strategies. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
o Demonstrate ability to effectively handle issues and challenging situations
