Our large fin-tech client located in San Jose is seeking a UX/UI Designer for an contract position until the end of the year. This position sits on the UX Design team and supports the client’s credit organization.
Engagement Center Overhaul: The Engagement Center’s Teammate experience (which empowers the teammate to deliver best in class service and build strong relationships with customers) is undergoing a UX overhaul with the introduction of a new platform. This will include a reimagining and transformation of the experience, moving from onerous, static workflows and tools to experiences that are seamless, personalized, predictive, and guided. We expect this project to run through year end (December 31, 2020).
· At a minimum 6+ years design experience (with projects focused on web/mobile, ideally with
some consumer focused products) including:
o design thinking,
o user research,
o interaction design,
o wireframes, mocks, prototypes
o conducting Usability Analysis & Generating Insights
o UX/Design training/education
o Experience working directly with stakeholders and users
o Link to portfolio (and expect that portfolio is polished & impressive)
· Some experience to be at companies considered to have good UI/UX (ex: Uber, Airbnb, Google, Facebook, etc.)
· Some experience in related product areas would be Zendesk, Salesforce, or employee-experiences”
Typical Task Breakdown/Rhythm:
(15-20%) This person will be attending team meetings that happen every other Mondays, on Wednesdays there is a 2 hour design review. For their project, they will meet multiple times a week with the cross functional team.
(80-85%) of the day will be spent doing the design work.
Interaction Level with Team: this is a very collaborative and interactive role. There is a possibility that there may be interaction with external stakeholders
This team releases quite regularly. They work in rapid short cycles. There is a very robust AB testing (put out multiple designs and can see what is working). This is very rich with user experience. This is a very relatable space that impact millions of people.
