Membership Associate

Reports to: the Director of Membership Development

JOB PURPOSE

• Support the membership team’s efforts in creating and fostering relationships with leadership within member organizations
• Maintaining dues cycle through billing, reminders and payment received
• Help with updating rosters and leadership contacts within group organizations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for dues billing and tracking, database updates, fulfillment of requests for information, customer service, processing membership applications, and providing general support for division personnel.
• Onboarding members using the welcome/Informz emails in the system
• Answering the membership@amga.org inquiries and help reset passwords.
• Monitor website errors (from email notifications website@amga.org)
• Pull bad email list to find possible domain blocking, or changes in leadership.
• Writing the Inside our member section, which is a compilation research done throughout the month that includes the section of movers and shakers, business briefs and awards. Using Becker’s Hospital Review, Definitive Healthcare and individual websites of members to gather the information is helpful
• Sending and tracking roster request
• Setting up calls with leadership teams at member organization for checking in purposes

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 year degree preferred
• MS Office
• Excel program
• Detail orientation
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Polished presentation
• Proficiency with iMIS and Crystal Reports a plus

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/PERKS:

Potential overnight travel 2-3 times a year
