Job Description:

We are working with a luxury skincare brand on their search for a Project Manager who will oversee the project management for marketing and business developemnt initiatives as well as events for PR and clients. This role is fleixble to work from home a few days a week, but must live in the NYC to go to office in New York for meetings and to work a couple days a week.

The project manager's responsibilities include:

  • Lead in the execution of flagship buildout project, launch party and budget planning, coordinate photo shoots and PR announcement
  • Assist business development managers in taking care of the fine details of a flagship buildout and launch party
  • Conduct assessments to identify and seek solutions to project problems in order to reduce downtime
  • Manage all vendor relationships and ensure all requests, shipments, deliveries, and scheduling are actively tracked; handling and resolving all errors immediately while being proactive with the process and management of vendors
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with business development team, and external customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of multiple projects from start to finish
  • Maintain contact with business development manager, and customers (when needed ) through phone calls, emails or text messaging
  • Monitor flagship buildout materials inventory levels to determine the need for stock procurement and replacement
  • Prepare and present to the manager weekly reports of project operations
  • Ensure changes in project plan are communicated to team members
  • Carry out quality reviews and checks to ensure project operations are in line with established best practices
  • Proactive in anticipating business needs/optimizations and having agility in a fast-paced environment.

 

Skills

  • Education and Training: an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  •  Experience in an administrative position is required for the job
  • Knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word and  PowerPoint
  • Administrative Skill: Must have the skill to handle client calls, document project operations, and to ensure vital information is passed across to team members
  • Leadership Skill: Able to manage daily project operations
  • Multitasking Skill: Able to monitor the progress of multiple projects
  • Detailed-oriented: Ability to be client-facing
