Job Description:


  • Primary responsibility is on customer contact analysis and planning.
  • Partners with Sr. Manager, Multichannel CRM, to provide annual circulation and revenue plan focusing on improved productivity, growth goals, and efficient advertising spend.
  • Develop and executes circulation plans to retain existing customers and increase re-buy rates for them.
  • Create opportunities to improve performance through segment and contact testing, promotions, modeling, and other enhancement strategies.
  • Execute, analyze and report on segment, list, and test performance to communicate results to the organization.
  • Focus on response, profitability, and lifetime value for future planning and decision making.
  • Develops and identifies the customer segments to be targeted, based upon past segment performance, current margin and other financial variables that contribute to profit/loss (P&L) by segment and effort.Works with Sr. Manager Multi Channel CRM to investigate opportunities to enhance the performance of customers.
  • Recommend tests and strategies to improve the business that align with the company’s targets and goals.
  • Design and execute campaign and templates using campaign tool and work with database, merge/purge, and print vendors.
  • Communicates and partners with internal and external customer modeling efforts to improve performance for each mailing.
  • Coordinate programs that generate income (3 party and membership).
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors.Maintain file size projection model to predict how many customers there will be in future and work with team to plan and recommend strategies to grow 12M customer file.
  • Create documentation for schedules, processes, reports and other areas of responsibilities, to simplify coverage and training support.
  • Frequently performs ad hoc analysis using Database Tools, SQL, Tableau and advanced Excel.
  • Works closely with Database partners on accessing and updating data.
  • Maintains and performs audits to ensure accuracy of reports and underlying data.
  • Works closely with other Marketing Analyst(s) on circulation campaigns to determine ways to grow the customer file, create reports to analyze results, and partners on the annual circulation efforts.
  • Supports customer retention, acquisition and the outside list marketplace development efforts.
  • Determines what role acquisition will play in current media plans and in the development of the customer file.
  • Develops and executes research efforts to better understand customer behavior.Develops and executes measurements of customer loyalty programs.Performs online and offline reporting, maintains consistency across channels and allows for variation.


  • Works independently to facilitate the objectives of the Company with input from management.Position requires the exercise of independent judgment.
  • Works with Senior Management to translate agreed upon goals into short- and long-term contact strategies supported by media and customer file projections.
  • Develops circulation planning to include translation of media plans into a customer file model; sets the targets for sales, orders, and buyers by channel.
  • Coordinates with the team’s eCommerce and Marketplace associates to ensure the promotional and merchandising contacts within the brand makes sense to the customer; looks to understand how these channel customers react to promotions and assists in determining whether the internet can be used as a testing ground for catalog promotions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.


  • SQL skills are required.
  • Business Intelligence platform (for example, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects or similar) skills are required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
