Market Research Associate - Consumer Product
This is 6 month onsite role based in White Plains, NY. This will be 40 hours/week based onsite but could extend longer.
Position Description (About the Job):
This temp position is focused exclusively on competitive analysis and benchmarking, within our Marketing Organization. Is a strategic role that will have exposure to high level leadership as well as will be instrumental in educating and influencing brand plans.
We are looking for a self-starter with a critical thinking mindset and good communication skills. This is someone who understands and will be coached on all the various levers of business. This role is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience working with senior business professionals and being the internal expert on external activities.
Build out framework of competitive benchmarking Include cross functional needs (Marketing, PR, Finance, Manufacturing) Daily/Weekly Competitive analysis and benchmarking share out through various tools Develop formal presentations on learnings Analyze and report out weekly business performance of competitive brands Influence portfolio/brand reactions based on learnings
Candidate Qualifications (About You):
Education and Experience:
Undergraduate degree required
Communications, Public relations or Marketing background preferred Food and Beverage experience preferred

Ability to work autonomously and with a self-starter mindset- highly proactrive Critical thinker and strong attention to detail and highly analytical Strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze data from a variety of sources to identify patterns/trends in the data and form conclusions and recommendations Demonstrated ability to think strategically to generate ideas and solutions to business opportunities and challenges Solid written and verbal presentation skills in English Comfort working in a team environment with leaders across all levels Strength working with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel & PPT)
