This role will support the marketing team with creating and executing business and events marketing strategy across multiple product areas and industries (ie. telecommunications, satellite industry). You will help create business narratives and bring our technology and business momentum to life through designing and delivering impactful physical experiences.
This is a unique project, and each day we will unearth interesting challenges. Working alongside a stellar group of teammates in BD/sales, product, policy and regulatory affairs, PR, UX and research, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver on the ambitious goal of global access.
-Partner with cross-functional team members to develop business and events marketing strategy, incl. core business narratives and key messaging.
-Bring our key messages to life through designing and delivering impactful physical experiences at industry events around the world.
-Develop impactful collateral focused on our key value propositions (case studies, brochures, one pagers, presentations) and keep it up to date.
-Manage event strategy, planning and delivery from start to finish, overseeing multiple agency partners throughout the process. You will attend the most important events around the globe to ensure top production quality, as well as to gather industry best practices and current industry themes.
-In close collaboration with the PR team you will design an impactful speaker program.
-Define best practices and create scalable guidebooks to educate the cross-functional team on how to produce a successful event for their function.
-BA/BS degree or other relevant practical experience
-5-7 years of (ideally B2B) marketing experience in technology, telecommunications, or global access
-Demonstrated track record of delivering successful business marketing and event marketing initiatives
-Startup experience ideal, startup mentality a must, with the ability to shift between strategy and execution
-Strong track record of prioritizing and executing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
-Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and passion for excellence
-Effective cross-functional collaboration
-Flexibility and ability to work autonomously with limited guidance
-Track record of successful partnership with agencies, incl. Delivering effective feedback.
-Strong background in managing event production process.
-Experience in and/or knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
-Experience in a regulated industry / product area.
-Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
-International experience, incl. in emerging markets. Appreciation and understanding for cultural differences.
