Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst on a long term assignment with our corporate client located in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will have worked within the financial services sector in preferably a business analyst role with knowledge of lending terminology, systems, and practices. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researching and responding to online customer and regional cases in a timely manner
  • Identify process enhancements to reduce risk and ensure customer satisfaction

Secondary Responsibilties:

  • Analyzing business requests for system and/or procedural changes within our existing practices and system functions (origination, lending, payments, call center, bill collection, etc.)
  • Writing business requirements and other business related documents while working with all levels of management and technical staff exercising excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Participating in the planning and execution of financial services projects, both small and large
  • Researching and mapping business processes and developing process flows
  • Analyzing reporting criteria to either create new reporting requirements or update existing reports
  • Performing conditional assessments and providing recommendations regarding their assessment of available business options
  • Planning, conducting, and documenting meetings on a range of topics within the above activities


  • Detail oriented and accurate responses to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Team oriented and flexible to learn and adapt to changing requirements and business needs
  • College Graduate Experience in financial services (consumer, banking, captive finance)
  • MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook,
  • Project Knowledge of lending and origination systems a plus
