Job Description:

We're looking for a high-performing Program Manager who is committed to our clients mission and interested in an impactful role blending product development, go-to-market and measurement.   The Program Manager will materially shape the offering and the roadmap for scaling this important new initiative.

The Program Manager will be responsible for:

 Supporting the achievement of large-scale systemic and sustainable change through new innovations, programs, and initiatives in workforce development at the national, state, and local levels.
 Innovating by finding new products, services, or approaches to economic opportunity and mobility for older workers – particularly focused on income generation for low-income 50+ workers
 Continuously refining and adapting approaches in response to feedback, research, and insights
 Contributing to ensuring the new and enhanced Workforce Programs portfolio meets the Foundation's annual goals related to new income generation for LI 50+ workers.

This position is responsible for helping to develop and implement a portfolio of new and enhanced work in the Workforce Programs area, from pilots and new initiatives, enhancements of current programs, to new ideas and concepts that will be put through the innovation process, working with multiple partners, including for-profit and non-profit stakeholders. This position requires a commitment to the Foundation's strategy of
expanding the Workforce Programs portfolio and developing workforce innovations that increase our ability to provide practical and scalable solutions to the needs of the low-income 50+ workers.

This position requires:
 Serving as an advisor on scaling workforce programs, solutions, and innovations and identifying opportunities for the future workforce in a rapidly evolving economy
 Exhibiting a heightened sense of accountability to the constituencies served and for the outcomes created.
 Ability to develop and forge new strategic partnerships with workforce organizations, employers, economic development agencies, learning organizations and providers, technology companies, and other key stakeholders.
 Mission-driven commitment to increasing economic opportunity, mobility, and security for low income older workers and the power of innovation to drive impact.
 Proven experience of managing relationships in and across complex organizations
 Knowledge of and experience working with employers and/or industry organizations on new and game changing talent strategy solutions and initiatives
 Continually understanding the rapidly changing workforce needs of employers and reskilling and upskilling needs of workers due to technology to drive strategic differentiation and partnerships
 The drive to work in cross functional teams and to engage different units across the Foundation to drive innovation to achieve Foundation’s mission.
 Focus on being an integral part of a high performing team
The role requires a strong ability to work well at an interpersonal level in order to champion the needs of low income older workers in the enterprise and with other stakeholders. The role involves a strong analytical component, requiring the ability to repeatedly review, critique, upgrade and provide constructive feedback on new initiatives and opportunities. This position will have a high impact on Foundation’s ability to execute its strategy and reach both its short and longer term goals.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Social Science, Technology, or related discipline. Graduate degree preferred.
 5+ years’ experience in workforce development, human resources, economic development, industry engagement, or employment related social enterprise – a focus on employment outcomes strongly preferred.
 Evidence of designing and implementing new workforce programs, initiatives, and cutting edge solutions preferred.
 Familiarity or experience with working with employers on innovative and high impact talent acquisition, development, and management strategies and solutions

 Demonstrated ability to manage a complex array of projects, operational and strategic goals, and relationships with internal and external partners.

 Experience in scaling solutions and programs, particularly related to economic and workforce development.

 Excellent business judgment, a familiarity with a wide variety of business models both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, and the ability to see the potential application of these models in the context of program development and implementation.
 Excellent communication skills both oral and written; ability to produce high quality reports and presentations.
 Well-networked in the workforce, business, and/or social entrepreneurship related to employment and workforce education fields with an ability to engage these resources to assist the Foundation in its mission.
 Familiarity with design thinking methodology and both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
 A preference to take responsibility, manage multiple projects at once, and deliver professional work-product promptly and on-deadline.
 Highly self-motivated.
