Contract Writing Positions – Corporate Communications
Our client is seeking a seasoned writer/editor to support external communications related to a recent acquisition.
This individual will participate in cross functional meetings to understand the nature of communications needed for customers and business partners.
This could include letters, emails, marketing collateral, and/or webinar content related to policy and technology transitions.
The candidate will work closely with internal communications and training.
We are seeking a self-starter who is skilled at simplifying complex information into plain language.
We’d like a champion for editorial quality and consistency.
The successful candidate is an active listener comfortable asking clarifying questions.
Someone comfortable and skilled tailoring messaging for different audiences
Someone comfortable meeting with internal Project Manager's and other stakeholders
This writer/editor will work with all levels within the organization
Insurance / group benefits experience ideal
Some of the deliverables will include:
Academic white paper
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications or Journalism.
5 years of experience writing corporate communications.
Work experience in financial services preferred but not required.
Possess strong writing, editing and proofing abilities.
Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and is comfortable managing input from multiple stakeholders.
Deadline oriented with an ability to communicate with senior management.
Meet with stakeholders to understand projects.
Research, write, edit and proof materials for external use.
Meet all deadlines.
This is a 3-6 month assignment reporting into the Assistant Vice President of Marketing.
Hours will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
The client is open to a flexible work arrangement balancing onsite and remote work.
