Job Description:

Role is at once UX Researcher together with Interaction Design - symbiotic energies pulled into one role fueling product design. This is a full-time onsite position in downtown Austin deployed to the most admired name in internet technology. 


  • Work closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle. 
  • You are a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better. 
  • Work on projects that have an impact on the web experience of millions of users
  • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. 
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change.

This person should be a hybrid UX Researcher/UX Designer. Ideally would like a UX Researcher that can do UX Design as well.


  • Journey mapping, user research/conducting user interviews, mocks, presentation, telling a story. 
  • Candidates portfolio is required upon submission, looking to see real world examples. 
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, area of discipline does not have to be in design or research. 
  • Looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience, will consider someone more junior if they have experience with large enterprise companies, have worked on very complex business designs and have an amazing portfolio. 

Top 3 MUST have skills:

  • Must have experience in both UX Research and UX Design
  • Must have experience designing for large enterprises
  • Must have experience designing for very complex business flows.


  • Top EXCITING skill - interest and ability to ramp up in a complex business space.
  • This role will be supporting internal tools operations for the company.
  • Legal, financial, security, healthcare backgrounds would do good in this role.
  • Looking for someone who is nice, fun, and has worked on a collaborative team before.

Prescreen Questions:

  1. How do you work, process, and output?
  2. How do you create the artifacts that you share with our users and stakeholders for feedback?
  3. What tools do you use/are familiar with?
  4. How do you get requirements for your projects?
