Job Description:

The ad sales organization is looking for a Senior Analyst of Insights & Measurement for Sports to aide development of sales-driven research and analytical solutions for the Olympic games. This role will be responsible for reporting and performance evaluation of advertiser campaigns, in addition to contributing towards greater ad sales research initiatives for the Company Sports Group. The Analyst will interface with internal constituencies (sales, marketing, and client partnerships) and leverage data & research to effectively position the Olympic games across the sports & media landscape. This person should have a passion for sports, marketing, and media, as well as an interest in cross-platform research (TV, Digital and Social). Candidates must have experience using research and analytics to develop actionable insights and effective storytelling on behalf of advertisers. 


  • 2-4 years of research experience at a media company, agency, or vendor 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Ability to distill data from a variety of sources into articulate, clear and actionable data-driven narratives, insights and recommendations 
  • Expertise in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Strong quantitative skills, including both analytical abilities as well as media math proficiency 
  • Adept in cross-platform audience measurement systems (e.g., Nielsen, Adobe Analytics, Lake 5, comScore, etc.) 
  • Proficient in consumer data platforms (e.g. YouGov, Simmons, MRI, etc.) 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY 
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation 
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States 
  • Must be 18 years or older Desired Characteristics 
  • Strategic thinker with a deep interest in sports, media, analytics and/or marketing 
  • Custom research experience is a plus 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Team player with the ability to deliver on different assignments/projects in a timely manner 
  • Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain relationships with team and internal/external partners 
  • Comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization


  • Support Olympics ad sales research team (including a Senior Director and Manager) in the creation of detailed analyses, reports, presentations, and marketing/sales materials covering the Olympic games
  • Utilize both syndicated and custom research tools to effectively position the Olympic games across linear, digital, and social to the advertising community 
  • Develop category and consumer insights to support B2B marketing opportunities 
  • Demonstrate advertisers’ return on investing in Olympics media and sponsorship, using campaign results 
  • Analyze competitive spending & marketing patterns 
  • Respond requests for from across the organization 
  • Collaborate across Insights & Measurement teams to deliver on organizational needs
