AQUENT is seeking a Graphic Designer in Toronto for a top FinTech company. This is an amazing and unique opportunity to go in-house with a great group of creatives. Graphic Designer required skills: 

  • 4-year degree in graphic design or similar discipline
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • Eye-catching, sleek & modern portfolio 
  • Professional: Print, direct mail, brochures, annual reports or other polished work for highly visible companies
  • Experience designing Display ads for Facebook, Instagram 
  • Creative use of typography, images and color that demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the principles of design and able to defend their work
  • Must be highly collaborative & have experience working with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Copywriters, Motion designers and other graphic designers 
  • Technical Knowledge: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are required. Acrobat helpful. Web program experience also helpful: Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver
  • Plus skills +++ experience with video work or motion design (to help out video work) 

Graphic Designer responsibilities: 

  • Deliver digital designs for social and the web, including Facebook & Instagram 
  • Participate and jump in on brand campaigns as needed 
  • Receives creative direction and revisions from the creative team
  • Uses Mac-based prepress programs to create preliminary layouts for presentation eventually produces final output ready files and folding mock-ups for transfer to the production team
  • Is self-organized and manages deadlines and production scheduling on numerous, concurrent projects
  • Exhibits a clear understanding of: marketing objectives, production constraints and capabilities, and possesses a thorough understanding of design, layout and typography
