Job Description:

We are seeking a Web Content Writer for one of our valued Fortune 500 clients in the oil and gas industry. This is a long term opportunity onsite at our client's site. Benefits and PTO available through Aquent.

This person will be working within a specified IT Team (an internal IT Help website/channel). Candidates should have experience writing web/IT-related content (help articles, user articles), and have knowledge of things such as form labeling, titleing, etc. 

Content Writer

Job Description (General Overview of the role):
• This person will work within the Content Team to ensure that content is considered as part of the overall brand and user experience, and they will help to set strategy and guidelines for creating and maintain content.
• This person will create new content and guide others in the creation of content
• This person will gather and review information from other teams then create customer facing content without IT jargon

Basic Function: Analyst
Job Responsibilities (Day to Day Activities of the Role):
• Manage the definition, inventory, migration, governance, and quality of the content needed
• Develop and execute plans for content migration/rationalization
• Consult on and write content
• Provide guidance to team members on communication plan details such as delivery timing and overall messaging
• Work with project team to steward and drive execution of the overall plan and develop content for website articles
• Assist with other projects the team is working
• Ability to make complex things simple
