Job Description:

As a Analytics and Insights Lead, you will be a part of the global Research, Analytics, and Insights team. You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the impact of retail marketing efforts, and influencing future retail strategy and design based on fact-based results. You will manage the insights of our product portfolio globally, which includes products and more. You will lead our insights and analytics efforts, spanning qualitative research such as UX testing and in-store shop-alongs, consumer surveys, and supplementing with other methodologies where required. You will understand the research goals by working with internal stakeholders, developing project screeners and moderator guides along with vendors, and gathering insights for executive and functional team reporting. You will be responsible for research methodology and design, synthesizing insights to drive actionable recommendations, and building compelling consulting-style analysis and executive review decks. You will both build your own research as well as manage vendors who execute primary research on the company's behalf. You will work with other insights teams in the company to supplement your insights and share your findings. Your consumer insights will drive critical creative and messaging decisions, helping the team ensure the products resonate best with consumers in the retail environment.

-Drive all qualitative and quantitative research for a product in retail, including developing research briefs, setting project goals, and learning objectives with internal stakeholders, attending sessions, synthesizing insights, and developing final reports with external vendors
-Manage 5-10 research projects concurrently, from design through execution and reporting
-Interface with external vendors’ working teams to manage timelines, deliverable due dates, and quality check work
-Work closely with insights leads in EMEA and APAC to ensure methodology is applied globally and understand and incorporate local nuances to global studies
-Report on inconsistencies or project risks to internal and external teams to ensure quality work
-Drive agendas, notes, action items and follow-ups for internal and external meetings
-Build and track timelines across Research, Analytics, and Insights team; research vendor teams, and retail marketing cross-functional teams, such as creative, production, and go-to-market
-Review all materials from vendor and help shape materials such as screeners, moderator guides, questionnaires, timelines, and final reports


- 3-5+ years experience in Market Research or consulting
- BA/BS degree with a strong analytical focus (STEM or quantitative social sciences) 
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently ; Highly organized with an extreme attention to detail and rigor for process 
- Comfort working with and manipulating data, building models, running scenarios or sensitivities, and summarizing key takeaways and insights 
- Highly attuned communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and drive action with other teams not directly under your control 
- Proficient in Google docs, sheets, slides (relevant Microsoft experience will suffice)

- Experience working in retail/ consumer goods, or consumer electronics / mobile
- Executive presence to actively manage and run cross functional meetings
- Some retail and/or technology/telecom experience
