Job Description:

We are looking for a UX designer with strong visual skills to work on Design Tools within our major team at a large enterprise global tech company!

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and design the user interface for the web applications
  • Define and create the workflow for the user experience and style guide for the software products including page layout, navigation, and data entry flow to ensure the product is intuitive and easy to use
  • Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes and deliver final design assets in a format that’s easy for Software Developers to build
  • Conduct and translate user-centric design research and usability testing
  • Multi-task more than one project at a time.
  • Work with Product Managers and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into an easy-to-understand, simple language in a consistent voice for the end-user


MUST HAVES:

  • Outstanding portfolio of design projects
  • 3+ years as a professional Visual Designer, Interaction Designer or equivalent experience
  • Expert level on Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma
  • Understanding of web technologies and app development cycle
  • Ability to follow design language and apply design guidelines to existing experiences
  • A highly collaborative, team-player
  • A passionate advocate for beautifully crafted design
  • Entry level coding experience (HTML/CSS/JS)


Also looking for:

  • Experience creating design/interaction prototypes (Figma, XD, FramerJS, or similar)
  • Understanding of product and service design methodologies
  • [ideally] A degree in Design, New Media, and/or User Experience
  • Confident presenting and promoting design solutions
  • The ability to wear many hats and contribute across disciplines
  • A history of designing delightful interactive experiences built on new or emerging technology
  • Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with the ambiguities inherent in incubation work
  • Knowledge of user-centered design approaches and interaction design best practices
  • Strong brainstorming skills, from participation to leadership
  • The ability to reduce complex concepts to understandable, actionable tasks
  • A strong interest in design and technology and trends, with an eye toward the future
  • Passion for invention, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences!
