This Associate Writer, Brand Marketing will be working with our  branding campaigns, specifically working with agency partners, later this Fall

They are currently handling a number of marketing campaigns, and this talent will be part of the execution. Will handle some corporate projects as well.

Deliverables will include five-word headlines, landing pages, email, mobile, marketing copy, social, and both digital & print campaigns

TOP 3 THINGS YOU WANT TO SEE ON A RESUME:

Our client is looking for someone who is a strong, brand-centric marketing copywriter who can handle a variety of deliverables

Prefer 3 years of experience, strategic, collaborative (possibly in agency setting), higher Ed writing a plus

Must be energetic with a collaborative spirit

Ability to work with multiple teams

Less of an editor and more of a true creator is preferred

EXAMPLE OF A DELIVERABLE THEY'D BE WORKING ON:

Biggest focus will be on email, also display advertising, general writing for the marketing group and other teams, campus brochures, sort-form headlines and a variety of ad-hoc projects as they come up.

Wil work with marketing ops team

A lot of projects at once—time management-oriented, communicative person

Ability to post, copy and edit

Education industry is helpful, but actually wants someone who can bring new fresh, energy to their group

TOOLS/MUST HAVES:

The successful candidate has a demonstrated ability to deliver clear, engaging, and relevant copy that combines a creative spark, strong brand and audience knowledge, and a focus on specific strategic objectives.

The position requires curiosity, self-guidance, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver on multiple deadlines as part of high-functioning project teams.

It also requires continuous awareness and application of new communications trends and metrics, the ability to convey a differentiated brand voice through all types of writing projects, and the ability to consistently apply Associated Press (AP) Style and brand style guidelines.

Portfolio should demonstrate a range of projects that they love to work on, or other pieces that are part of a bigger initiative.
