FANTASTIC DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR ROLE

GROWTH & LEARNING OPPORTUNITY at LUXURY GOODS COMPANY IN PROVIDENCE

The Digital and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our brand strategy to increase awareness and consideration, by improving our digital marketing efforts, developing engaging content that will grow our e-Commerce sales leads with increased click- throughs to our website, new social media fans/followers and email subscribers.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Define most important social media and email KPIs and measure the success of every campaign
• Manage and oversee social media and email marketing content in tools and platforms (Sprout Social and Rejoiner)
• Work with Digital Marketing, Creative Director and Graphic designers to ensure social media and Email content is informative and appealing, collaborate with DTC, Marketing, and Product Development teams
• Submit requests for digital marketing asset creation to be utilized on our websites, social media and email channels, facilitates approvals and uploads to DAM (Salsify)
• Assist with uploading product content into Global Branded websites, conducting product content scrubs, translating content for EMEA, and proofing new content
• Facilitates email & social media external vendor purchase orders, invoice payments and budget tracking
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
 
 JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
• Strong relationship builder and strategic thinker with strong work ethic
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent proofing skills including an eye for color
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to multi-task, be proactive and manage priorities with limited supervision
• Solutions and results oriented with demonstrated initiative and ability to follow through
• Team player with the desire and ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communication and/or 1-2 years experience in marketing and/or eCommerce (Can include internship experience)
• Prior experience with social media, creative asset management, print and weekly/monthly reporting
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Analytics, Social Media Tools (Sprout Social), Asana and Adobe Scene7
• Basic knowledge of HTML
