YEA-LONG CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT

 

Our large professional services client is seeking a “Design Advisor” for a role in a national in-house graphic design team based on an agency model. This position is remote but must be located in the EST or CST time zones.

A Design Advisor is a digital story-teller, content strategist, project manager, and creative lead. Someone who can provide creative direction and management with hands-on ability.

The Design Advisor performs at a manager level working with clients and other designers. Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of and success in roles developing and leading design initiatives, campaigns and managing work streams, including developing multimedia graphics, electronic collateral, digital components, production through completion, knowledge of print and producing fully-branded exacting designs. 

Additional Information: Design advisor provides graphic design support and project management. Creative conception, art direction and design as well as ability to communicate clearly and confidently with C-suite-level employees. 

 

-Proven ability to deliver unexpected design strategies and concepts which lead to successful design solutions.

-Producing the concepts, designs and layouts of complex pieces ranging from internally printed materials to externally viewed multi-component campaigns. 

-Ability to work in high stress situations and clients. 

-Ability to illustrate to our brand using Adobe Illustrator. 

-Ability to work with offshore teams. Knows when to delegate. 

 

Requirements:

-Experience in maintaining and implementing brand guidelines. 

-Experience in project management and planning. 

-Proven ability to work well with individuals at all levels within an organization. 

-Experience in building successful client and team relationships. 

-Effective problem resolution and conflict management experience. 

-Experience with offset print. Strong knowledge of typography. 

-Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. (PC platform) 

-Expert knowledge in PowerPoint and Google Slides. Working knowledge of MS Word, 

and Excel. 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. 

-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
