Job Description:

Aquent's client is looking for a driven, hard-working associate to join their Business Development, Branded Content Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for a number of duties relating to the Branded Content Sales and Execution Process. This role is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space (including heavy digital media) and prior experience with planning, strategy, and client outreach. This role is a stepping stone – developing an associate’s skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth. Candidate is required to develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of their clients’ business and ensure that all client creative and media requirements are executed in a timely and accurate manner. Further, candidate must be the day-to-day steward on all outreach and engagement with assigned brands. 

Qualifications:

  • Work in media planning, buying, and management for a minimum 1-2 years with progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred. 
  • You think strategically. 
  • You take into account the bigger picture. 
  • You analyze everything and think critically when solving problems to come up with solutions. 
  • You build great relationships with clients and cross-functional teams. 
  • Have a history of strategizing/negotiating to get the job done right and track record of success in media. 
  • You deliver polished presentations and know how to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities. 
  • You have led clients through your strategies and POVs. 
  • Advanced level of IT skills including all Microsoft. 
  • Knowledge with Google Analytics, Wrike, Looker, and Salesforce a plus 
  • Awareness and understanding of research tools, syndicated services, and publicly available data 
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and numerical skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and detail-oriented nature 
  • Familiar with social media buying and implementation across Facebook and Instagram 
  • Familiar with digital programmatic 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Director and greater project and leadership team/s in the effective day to day running of paid partnership campaigns 
  • Works with the Director and team to develop strategies and marketing plans based on upcoming programming opportunities and in response to RFP efforts 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships via regular email and/or phone communication 
  • Required volume of client outreach to deliver on weekly meeting count 
  • Ability to create, build, and flawlessly execute a media plan, that connects the project voice to our clients needs - across our ecosystem/s 
  • Knowledge to speak to the digital media landscape as it relates to the company and our clients 
  • Oversee the progress of all projects and assists the team to make sure deadlines are met and cross-functional teams are aware of such deadlines, utilizing Wrike and SalesForce as management tools. 
  • Understands and can apply data and learnings to ensure media plans are well-thought, well-structured, and accurate 
  • Assists in the process from briefing to campaign evaluation all the way through to account execution 
  • Handle any client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information 
  • Oversees client reporting on a weekly basis and responsible for the creation of extensive campaign wrap reports to accompany campaigns 
  • Measure media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met and knowledge to simplify and humanise data and information to tell simple, clear, and concise stories to our clients 
  • Ensure that all administration associated with a campaign is kept up-to-date and that all team members adhere to established process 
  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues 
  • Continue to develop and exercise their understanding of the media offering in the marketplace
