Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Sector Marketing Consultant with one of our Fortune 500 clients in NYC. This is for 20 hours a week, on or offsite, with full benefits - medical dental, 401K. Sector Marketing provides clients across all industry sectors (e.g. Industrial Products, Technology, Consumer Markets, Financial Services) with one-firm points of view on their issues, specific to the world in which our clients work: their industry and company. Sector Marketing advises leadership on and executes content and event strategies that address our clients' issues in innovative and interesting ways, creating an environment that drives sales, enhances relationships and strengthens the Firm's brand. 

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or like kind field (e.g. Public Relations, Journalism, Communications). 

Knowledge Preferred: 
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing, content creation, event and social media strategies and execution. Understanding of key business issues clients are facing and how to align with go-to-market strategies. Understanding of competitive positioning that contributes to the development of messaging and marketing strategies. 

Skills Preferred: 
Ability to participate in on-going marketing strategy development and drive change by collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals. Proven ability to leverage writing skills in order to develop and/or edit internal and external content -- communications, thought leadership, etc. Ability to lead the execution of marketing tactics across a wide variety of functional areas of marketing including: website, networking events, leadership calls/meetings, organic and paid social media, and content development, design and launch. Ability to make independent decisions on the execution of marketing tactics, and escalate when appropriate. Demonstrated ability to report on measuring and tracking of results of marketing programs and Return On Investment (ROI). Prior project management experience such as invitation development, thought leadership edits, events and pursuit programs.
