Job Description:

We are looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist to accelerate our social media campaigns and generate breakthrough project adoption.  Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager - Display & Social, this position will work within the marketing group to drive stronger customer demand and engagement across our ads and onsite to help fuel growth for the Company's Canada business.

This position will be based in Mississauga, Ontario but you will work cross-functionally with partners located across many of our global sites, including the US, UK, Australia, India, France, Brazil and more.

Responsibilities:

This individual will be accountable for driving marketing ROI for all products within the Canadian market. The Sspecialist’s objective is to leverage multiple social platforms to drive competitive advantage for the business, optimize conversions, improve CPA and drive positive ROI. It will require an analytical mindset including the ability to monitor performance and optimize campaigns accordingly. This individual will have the ability to write effective ad copy, manage high volumes of ads and campaigns, A/B test creatives, and analyze data in social platforms and Adobe Analytics.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end paid social campaign management for 2 Projects (brief, campaign and creative planning, execution)
  • Execute on social strategies, insights generation, measurement and reporting, ensuring the channel plays a lead role in supporting the customer journey and optimizes for the customer journey in recognition of all digital marketing channels.
  • Work cross-functionally within the online acquisition team and with other business units to drive positive ROI for the business as a whole.
  • Optimize KPI’s to maximize ROI of each marketing dollar spent within weekly budget restraints.
  • Understands and is intimately aware of competitive activity across social media, ensures that social campaigns are set up to deliver competitive advantage.
  • Implement social campaigns built on solid insights utilizing look-a-like audiences, remarketing, and audience segmentation with focus on personalization.
  • Optimize campaigns end-to-end (including creative, A/B testing, audiences, bids, budgets etc.) on an ongoing basis in real-time.
  • Analyze performance metrics and draw conclusions with actionable insights.
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on paid social campaign performance trends and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate digital strategies and rationale for tactical approaches across all campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a social media role, implementing and optimizing paid social campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of social platforms and ad managers, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills.
  • Driven to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with management and peers; exceptional work ethic and high sense of urgency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; great attitude and go-getter spirit required.
  • Strong passion to work in a dynamic and ever-changing business preferred.
  • Working knowledge of attribution platforms.
  • Knowledge of testing practices, including A/B, multivariate, etc.
  • Knowledge of analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics)
  • DMP, Tag Manager and other marketing technology experience a plus. (Adobe Audience Manager, Google Tag Manager, Ensighten, DV360)
  • Agency experience a plus.
