Marketing Project Manager

The core responsibility of the project manager is to help enable and execute great work in the smartest way possible – and to actively support teams deep in the creation and production of great work.

 

Role:

  • Own key project management functions such as scheduling, scoping, resource management and risk mitigation across agile workflows

 

  • Develop and manage multiple campaigns/projects across brands from initiation through implementation and deployment

 

  • Communicate project status and adjust resources and priorities accordingly

 

  • Work cross-discipline with marking, creative, UX & Technology to strategically plan project approaches, phases, and calendar plans

 

  • Own the day-to-day management of projects, scheduling of meetings and reviews, key milestones and deliverables

 

  • Create and maintain project scheduling and filing system accessible by all team members

 

  • Manage digital projects including: website development, CMS implementations, email programs, branded content, campaigns, and social media

 

  • Proactively recommend new methods and approaches to create efficiency and scale

 

  • Ensure the highest quality of work craft is produced by helping to create balance across various initiative happening in parallel

 

  • Support and empower teams, raise critical issues early, and be an advocate for creative ideas and craft


 

Requirements:

 

  • Expertise in project management principles, methods, and techniques

  • Experience scoping, creating, and managing agile workflow and sprints. This includes collaborating with business, marketing, creative, UX, and technology

  • Experience managing digital, print, event, and other marketing projects

  • Experience providing project scope input, resource planning, project actualization planning, scoping, change control, resource alignment and QA/QC protocols

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in different phases simultaneously

 

Organization

  • Demonstrated ability to create project systems, and organize team project files

 

Digital projects

  • Proven experience managing key digital projects for B2C and/or B2B brands

  • Experience producing responsive websites from concept all the way through delivery

  • Understanding of front-end and back-end interdependencies

  • Experience with Q/A process

 

Tech

  • Mastery of project management software resources – and teamwork tools like Slack

  • Experience with CMS (content management systems)

 

Communication

  • Ability to participate in strategic cross-discipline meetings, understand the conversation, and accurately recap it with next steps

  • Clear and succinct communication skills

  • Ability to work across teams to drive projects, obtaining deliverable commitments

 

Experience

  • 5+ years as PM at creative agency or in-house creative agency
