As a Social Media Strategist, you’ll need to stay abreast of social-user trends and shifting behaviors to set up our editorial brands for success. You’ll be working with our social editorial teams in order to strategically advise on social best practices, define campaign KPIs, as well as success metrics to facilitate transparent reporting. You’ll guide the creative content and influencer strategy for consumer campaigns all while driving consistent brand tone, voice, look and feel throughout.
You’ll be expected to help drive social strategy for brands’ B2C marketing campaigns to align with a clear understanding of how to target relevant audience segments.
In doing so, you will act as an expert to guide which content belongs on which platform.
You will be responsible for strategic execution and publishing of social marketing content including owning the social campaign calendar in addition to social content toolkits that help us communicate to local markets.
You will own the relationship with our social influencer agency, with a view to drive volume of quality and influencer UGC that can be repurposed toward our own social accounts.
You will partner across the Media Brands’ social leads, product managers and brand leads, to come up with innovative and results-driven social campaigns that drive to company and brand goals.
Skills, Talents, Experience You’ll Need
Minimum 3-5 years of social marketing experience for a large brand (consumer media / editorial preferred) that targets Gen Z audiences, with proven track record of leading and delivering impressive results
Agency experience preferred / a plus
Previous experience using Sprinklr or other enterprise social media tools
Strong analytical and technical skills, while also able to see the bigger picture
Confidence in working under strict deadlines, multi-tasking and communicating with diverse levels of personnel in a multi-functional environment
Ability to work independently (under general direction), and create organized work plans and output requirements in a timely fashion
Capacity to think creatively while demonstrating strong business judgement
Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop preferred
Bachelor Degree required
