Job Summary:

The Procedures and Communications team has an opening for an editor. This role requires the successful candidate to work closely with Procedures writers to edit procedural content for Contact Center Advisors. You will work on documentation projects from simple to complex in this role.

Key Qualifications:

o Review and revise procedural content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax

o Able to edit technical procedures to improve readability

o Able to edit procedures to prepare them for localization/translation into multiple languages

o Able to edit content based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines  2.0 (WCAG 2.0)

o Communicate and work with production team to ensure that content is published in a timely manner

o Ensure correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure of content

o Ensure that content adheres to the in-house style guide

o Compile and update style guides as required

o Collaborate with the team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping audience in mind

o Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines

o Able to express ideas clearly and diplomatically

o Able to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines

o Able to maintain confidentiality around business projects

o Maintain an open, collaborative attitude while engaging with colleagues and business partners

o Experience editing content based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines  2.0 (WCAG 2.0)

o Experience with HTML and CSS is preferred

o Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other content management systems is preferred

o Current or previous experience with Contact Centers is preferred

o Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is preferred

o Experience with iOS products and services is preferred


As a Procedures editor, you ensure that procedures are grammatically correct, readable, accurate, ready for publication, and reflect the style and voice of The Company. You will need to make decisions within short timeframes and with limited information, so good judgement and attention to detail are required for success.


o Bachelors degree in a related field and 4+ years relevant work experience

o Master degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience

o 2+ years in a role as an editor is preferred
