Our client, a Fortune 500 Telecommunications company, is looking for a part-time copywriter to join their team in Chelsea for a six month assignment! The role would be around 20 hours a week.
What you’ll be doing
As a member of the team, you’ll be responsible for copywriting and communication when it comes to our digital presence and programs that the team runs. You will work to translate complex and technical information into work that is easily understandable and digestible for all audiences. Your communication projects could be realized anywhere from a perfectly-written script or report to verbal presentations about work that the team is doing.
Activities in this role may include writing copy for various websites, script-writing for videos, polishing user journeys, crafting scripts around technology demos for new projects as they come out of the team's concept arm, writing insight reports, consolidating research, and more.
What we’re looking for
2-4 years as a copywriter with a portfolio of work
BA in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, English, or a related discipline
Experience working in PR and marketing
Competent with writing for a variety of projects with brand style in mind
Comfortable with varying writing styles for different audiences
Ability to translate dense, technical topics into clear and understandable copy
Ability to learn new topics, research, and fact-check all communication material that goes through the team
Experience giving and structuring presentations
Quick learner when it comes to speaking correctly about technical information
Proficiency with Google Docs, MS Office
Experience working with content management systems like Wordpress
Flexibility to attend various Lab events
Detail-oriented and precise
Background working with or writing about technology
Comfortable with ambiguity
