Our Fortune 500 fintech client in Austin, Texas is looking for a talented mid-level UX / Interaction Designer . This is an amazing opportunity for a  Mid-Level UXer who is looking to expand within design research, synthesize and iterate on desigs for customer-facing web applications.  You will gain great experience from a Fortune 500 organization where people genuinely enjoy working. You will solve problems that are unique to this digital-first organization where ALL of their products, services and offerings are found on their mobile app & website.  This company takes pride in providing legendary customer service and creating simple, convenient, interactive and widely accessible tools. 

This role in a nutshell:  design research, synthesis, and iterating on design work for web based applications.

***This is a 40 hours a week, onsite, 2 year contract opportunity. We offer a W2 hourly rate + Benefits (medical, dental, 401K).**

The UX/Interaction Designer will practice a user-centric methodology in the production and optimization of flagship consumer web applications. This UX Designer position will be responsible for working on a highly visible team that develops user experience for the company's customer acquisition sites; making you a crucial contributor to ROI as well as company reputation for this well-known organization. The ultimate UX Designer candidate will have strong UX chops, some design research, no visual design is necessary. The UX team is highly collaborative and they work directly with the product management and developer teams. This is a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

UX Designer / Interaction Designer Required Experience:  

  • 3-4 years UX Design / Product Design
  • Well-versed Interaction design
  • Information architecture 
  • While this is not a technology related role, this UX Designer need to be fluent with tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision. 
  • Practical knowledge of HTML,CSS / API’s etc is helpful and nice to have.
