Job Description:

Our client, a Fortune 100 Healthcare company, is looking for a Translation Consultant to work closely with the sales team and translation vendor and be responsible for the proofreading and quality check of translated 2020 Sales Materials. The position is responsible for ensuring that communications are translated in an efficient and timely manner and culturally relevant. The impact of this position is in ensuring effective and efficient delivery of consistent and respectful communication to the company’s various audiences, in keeping with overall brand standards so that all efforts help improve the company's ability to stand out in the marketplace. 


DUTIES: 

Responsible for coordination and quality check of translated materials including translation editing, proofing, layout and cultural competency reviews 
Communicates with and educates internal team and external translation vendor when necessary to ensure clear expectations 
Manage all assigned projects from beginning to end through established workflow processes 
Available to be on demand for the project/timeframe
Required training on TransPerfect's review portal

Requirements:

Skills: 
Fully bilingual English/Spanish linguist or proofreader. 
ATA certified preferred. If not ATA certified, willing to be tested. 
Healthcare industry experience a plus. 
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix-oriented environment 
Excellent oral and written communications skills 
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills 
Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills 
Ability to multitask and produce quality work 
Proficient in Microsoft applications 

Bachelor's Degree in Translation or Linguistics preferred 
Minimum 3 years experience in Translation or Cultural and Linguistic services 
Bilingual Spanish reading and written proficiency required
