Job Description:


1. General Project Management

  • Drive and support internal projects and initiatives for the Research Programs Team;
  • Move initiatives forward, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress. Hold the line when the schedule or progress is in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships;
  • Predict roadblocks and obstacles and prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions;
  • Partner closely with Research Program Managers and Researchers to identify opportunities and process improvements;
  • Contribute to processes and tools, updating databases and initiating improvements where needed;
  • Partner with teammates to coordinate deliverable due dates and planning deliverables

2. Project Manage Onboarding and New-Hire Initiatives

  • Project manage initiatives and components of UX researchers' onboarding;
  • Drive projects involving process design efforts to positively impact and scale the new researcher experience;
  • Manage onboarding documentation and provide on-going support for implemented processes;

3. Project Manage Learning and Development Initiatives

  • Project manage initiatives and components of the UX Research learning and development;
  • Drive projects involving process design efforts to positively impact researcher learning;
  • Manage and contribute to the development of the Research Learning Library, updating with articles, videos, training materials, and anything relevant to overall researcher learning objectives;
  • Manage communication and track the schedule of learning course curriculum and session facilitators throughout the year;
  • Record, track, and evaluate post-instruction metrics;


The Research Programs Team implements global operational systems, connects teams and knowledge, and problem solves operational hurdles to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work. This particular Research Project Manager role will be a contract role, managing operational projects related to onboarding and learning and development. You'll work closely with Research Program Managers and UX Researchers to execute and deliver on clearly defined projects, ensuring the highest quality work is being conducted. The ideal candidate is able to facilitate our teams' best work by driving and delivering projects to completion - managing timelines, anticipating project issues and resolving them, connecting resources to research needs, and removing barriers to doing great work. Our team is comprised of experts in problem solving and multitasking. You'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills that help our talented teams operate at their highest and most effective level. 

This role requires project or program management experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage complex logistics, and a highly organized approach are mandatory. This is a full-time contract position based in our Menlo Park office.


  • 3+ years of relevant or related Program or Project Management experience;
  • BA/BS degree;
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy;
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Track record of operating independently, being flexible, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of research and/or UX design is preferred;
  • Onboarding, Learning and Development, Research Operations, or People Operations support experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
