Our major pharmaceutical client is seeking a Copywriter/Creative Strategist with experience in professional, commercial writing. Responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communication plans, campaigns, promotional programs and meeting/event deliverables that support business objectives, as well as project work for our client's teams across the enterprise. Will work collaboratively with fellow creative staff, including Creative Directors, Designers and external vendor partners. Will partner with Account Teams in delivering against project requirements and client expectations, proactive course-correcting when necessary. 

Knowledge/Skills: 
• Uses big-picture thinking, storytelling, and research insights 
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devises strategies to achieve them 
• Is someone who has the ability to see beyond the near term 
• Is responsible for conceptually and holistically thinking of a future direction based 
on incomplete information 
• A good strategist has two core skills; critical thinking and writing 
• Works well under pressure and adjust direction quickly 
• Have good written and interpersonal skills 
• Must have the ability to articulate ideas to colleagues and in client presentations 
• Builds a rapport with clients and nurtures team relationships 
• Must meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints

Education/Experience: 
• BA/BS in English, Journalism, or Communications 
• 5-7 years of writing experience within a design firm, advertising agency or in house corporate department and/or freelance business.
