We're searching for a tech-savvy Product Marketing Manager for the Driver target to join our client, a growing, iconic rideshare company in San Francisco

As a Driver PMM, you will be the voice of the Driver to product, and the voice of product to Drivers. You will create marketing strategies that flow from understanding your customer, the market and the product. You'll uncover insights and leverage them to ensure builds customer-obsessed products that help new drivers feel prepared and excited to drive and inspire existing Drivers to keep driving and delivering magical experiences to their customers (riders). 

The Driver Product team builds technology that enables millions of Drivers around the world to earn a livelihood. As such, Product Marketers on this team must have deep customer empathy, strong communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to develop and execute best-in-class go-to-market strategies. Candidates looking to join this team must also be highly effective at collaborating and driving alignment across organizations and with external partners, along with the ability to leverage the power of a highly cross-functional team to get things done and deliver business impact. 

As a PMM working everyday with your cross functional product team, you will need to: 

  • Own the product messaging strategy and be the conduit between product and marketing teams to execute growth, early retention and re-engagement solutions across all owned and paid channels globally 
  • Develop and test tailored value props for a number of new and existing features and experiences within the Driver app 
  • Partner with data science and marketing teams to build experimentation roadmaps across key channels, including recommending and testing new communications surfaces within the Driver app 
  • Partner with UXR and design to conduct user research to inform product strategy and development 
  • Partner with product and marketing to pilot and scale successful experiments globally 

What You'll Need: 

  • Passion for company's mission and the company's hybrid technology & operations approach to business 
  • 3-5 years marketing experience delivering successful growth, retention and/or re-engagement strategies. Previous product marketing experience is preferred 
  • The ability to leverage data to influence business decisions 
  • The skill to articulate the essence of products and the value they create by developing a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan 
  • The willingness and know-how to deeply understand your market, customers and competition to then integrate these insights into your product development and marketing strategies 
  • An "owner" personality and "can do" attitude: You're a true believer in the work you drive and are biased towards action
  • Solid collaboration skills: You know how to engage and mobilize multiple teams to drive execution towards shared goals
