This is an on-going freelance opportunity at a leading beauty company in San Francisco. They are looking to bring somebody on who is looking to get into marketing and help with event support. Would love some super organized who’s not afraid to roll up sleeves. There is some tactical stuff like packing event boxes, Fedexes, etc. all while learning marketing techniques for store events!
As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will partner with the Marketing Manager on store marketing initiatives. In this role you will be part of a team that supports the success of these initiatives across stores in the U.S., with a focus on Store Openings, Regional Marketing and Events.
360 Marketing Campaigns:
Support Marketing Manager on 360 marketing campaigns for store openings and other store traffic driving initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail Operations, Field, External Agencies, and Vendors to champion campaigns and execute support across channels.
Support specific marketing vehicles to support 360 initiatives, including but not limited to media, partnerships and events.
Support various corporate, store and brand events
Partner with Field Leadership and Retail Ops to ensure flawless execution of events
Maintain event production workback schedule and to-do list
Travel on-site to execute events in-store.
Project manage 360 marketing campaign and event milestones and deadlines.
Create run of shows and recaps
Help to manage event budget and invoicing

Detail oriented and able to manage and track multiple campaigns.
Strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, diplomatic and flexible.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
1-3 years of marketing experience required.
Experience in a retail, beauty, and/or agency environment preferred.
Passion for Marketing, Beauty, and Retail preferred.
University degree or equivalent work experience.
